Flirting Advice from Queen Victoria
This clip from ‘The Young Victoria’ is one of my favorite parts of the movie. It shows how fabulous a flirt Victoria was, and how she understood men quite well. Both Victoria & Albert give each other advice in during the conversation. My favorite line is “Then you had better master the rules of the game until you can play it better than they can.” Prince Albert knew what he was talking about! This applies to every aspect of life.
Flirting and relationships are games, some people believe making a relationship a game is being manipulative and very misleading and wrong. In reality the opposite is true, life IS a game! Playing games in a relationship (especially in the flirting stage) does not have to be harmful! It is just having fun and being playful. Yes, if you are playing games out of jealousy or the need to hurt the other person for whatever reason than that is going too far.
Bottom line is: Flirting and relationships are games that are meant to be fun and playful. You just need to know the rules of the game better than anyone else!
